Someone is interested in commissioning me to draw ponies, and I realized that the last ponies I drew were FOREVZ ago, so I better draw some new examples!!
So here are some very quick sketches of Twilight Sparkle and Rarity. :’D

I gave away an extra copy I had of the comic A Drifting Life by Yoshihiro Tatsumi to the first person who said they wanted it on dA, and seeing the person was also a fan of Ouran High School (in particular Honey) I drew them this picture and tossed it in with the book. :3

Oh look, I did some fanart! It’s nice to do something other than the project that has been consuming my life.
Character is Hemu from the webcomic Strangers and Friends. It’s a good comic with very charming characters and lovely storytelling. I recommend you check it out! :D
I’ll post an update about thesis soon, but perhaps not tonight. Sent my process book to print and am taking a break from working because I am extremely tired. Apparently that happens when you continue to progressively get less sleep. I’m actually surprised that I’m even still conscious right now - but that’s probably because I fell asleep in the middle of doing my book layout earlier today. DERP.
More inked pages preview! Not every page though. You’ll notice I kept a few out. Mostly because there are some parts I don’t ink because I put them in the coloring stage, but without them the pages look odd. xD

I really do feel like I’m in a competition for the title of “World’s Slowest Inker”. And you what? I’m totally winning.
Hurray! I may still be behind schedule, but I’m not as behind as I was before. That’s good, right?
I have a running suspicion that this comic makes no sense at all without words. Or color.
God I can’t wait to finally get to color these…!
Another one?! I am on some kind of crazy roll.
This is Jude. Despite his angry looking face, he is actually the best party planner the town has ever had. Yes, they always go off without a hitch! Except for one small detail…he never gets to attend any of them himself.
You can’t say he doesn’t try! In fact he always leaves early - yet somehow still arrives late. Due to a terrible sense of direction, he tries to rely on maps to get around everywhere. But unfortunately, he’s also terribly dyslexic. This only adds to his struggle and so he ends up inevitably getting lost every time. He’s too embarrassed about this to ask for help, so everyone else ends up assuming he never intended to go in the first place.
So he’s not really an angry guy. On the contrary - he loves celebrations! He’s just frustrated that he keeps hearing how awesome the parties and town festivals he organizes are, but he’s never been able to find out himself. (An older family member used to always help him get where he needed to go, but since being on his own, he has continually been less than successful.)
You might think this story is about the girls helping him out with this dilemma, but actually they go on an entirely different venture that is the result of him trying to do something about his frustrations…by blaming the local map maker, naturally.
Again, I may or may not actually write the ridiculous (and obviously comedic) story that goes with these characters.
